The Orion OBDtrac is a vehicle tracking device that allows for easy installation via its OBD2 port connector. The OBDtrac allows for OBD inforamtion to be transmitted to the GPS Tracking Server when properly configured. The OBDTrac requires initial configuration using Hyper Terminal.

If you are running Windows Vista or newer Hyper Terminal will not be installed by default. You can download Hyper Terminal from here: Hyper Terminal
If you are running Windows XP or older Hyper Terminal will be installed by default. Simply navigate to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Communications - Hyper Terminal.
Bits per second: 38400
Flow Control: None
Click OK.
UnitID: The UnitID is the main identifier for the device within the GPS Tracking Server so be sure to record this value so that you have it available when setting up the device within the GPS Tracking Server.
