Getting Support

If you need help using the GIS Editor or are experiencing a problem with the software or with your ThinkGeo account, we'll be happy to lend you a hand. Here are the various support avenues available to you.

GIS Editor Wiki

The GIS Editor wiki serves as a full-fledged user manual, stocked with articles that will walk you through each of the application's screens and dialogs. Clicking the Help icon on any screen of the GIS Editor will open a web browser directly to the relevant article on the GIS Editor wiki, proving quick and context-sensitive help.

The wiki is also home to a library of Sample Projects that you can download and open in the GIS Editor, providing a great starting point for you to see how styles are built, how data can be visualized and much more.

Discussion Forums

ThinkGeo's official GIS Editor discussion forum is home to an active community of GIS Editor users, and is staffed by ThinkGeo support professionals who are ready to help answer your questions. Your free ThinkGeo account (the same one you use to login to the GIS Editor) will allow you to login to our forums and post new questions or reply to existing topics.

Enhancement Tracker

Got an idea for a new feature or an enhancement to the GIS Editor? Request it on our Enhancement Tracker. Simply choose “Map Suite GIS Editor” from the Product dropdown on the right side of the page and then tell us about the new feature you'd like to see. You can also see what other enhancements have been requested by other users of the GIS Editor and vote on your favorites. Features with the highest number of “Vote ups” are more likely to be considered for inclusion in a future update to the GIS Editor, so make sure to vote!

Phone and Email

You can also request support by phone or email (English language only).
