====== Titles ======

The **Title Tool** is located in the [[Adornments|Adornments Tab]] and is used to create a title to your map that is in a fixed position, regardless of panning, and will be carried over to your [[Print Map|Print map]].

===== Using the Title Tool =====
The **Title Tool** will open a Titles window and list all the titles you have created so far. You can add a new title using the **+** button or remove a title by selecting the title and clicking the **X** button. To change a title, select it from the left hand side list and edit the settings on the right. 

==== Label ====
**Label** - The name of the title and label

**Font Name** - Sets the font and font size of the label

**Font Color** - Sets the color and opacity of the label

**Font Style** - Sets the font to bold, italic, strikeout, or underline

**Rotation** - Rotates the label by a set number of degrees

==== Placement ====
**Location** - Sets where the label will appear on the map

**Left and Top Offset** - Offsets the Location by a number of pixels. This can be a positive or negative number.

==== Halo  ====
**Halo Color** - Sets the color of the Halo around the text

**Halo Thickness** - Sets the thickness, in pixels, of the Halo effect

==== Mask ====
**Fill Color** - Sets the color of the mask's fill

**Outline Color** - Sets the color of the mask's outline

**Outline Thickness** - Sets the thickness, in pixels, of the mask's outline

**Margin** - Sets the distance, in pixels, of how close the Outline is to the label text.
