Choosing a descriptive name can help you quickly identify styles when you are compositing many of them together. **Column Name** - Sets the column data the Dot Density style will use to determine which style each feature will use based on that feature's column value. You can use View Data to look at the feature layer's data to decide which to use. **Increment** - Sets a number to render one dot per increment of that number. Use the Recommend button for the editor to automatically find a number suitable for the data. ==== Associated Point Style ==== Just under the dot Density Style in the Style List, you will find a [[Point Style|Point Style]] that the Dot Density Style is using to create the dots rendered on the map. Clicking on that will take you to the properties of the [[Point Style|Point Style]] for you to change size, color, and many other settings.
